APD6

The APD6 is a six head Automatic Positive Displacement Filler designed to handle all types of rigid plastic, metal and glass containers. Each fill head utilizes an independent pump and motor package that is individually controlled and adjusted from the Touch Screen Control Package. Auto Fill Programming Setup and Auto Indexing Programming Setup allow machine operators to change over in minutes. Fully functional control system allows for rapid on the fly adjustments of all machine control aspects and job memory decreases down time and change over. Self diagnostics and Management Screens provide full on board technical support and on screen manuals that will significantly reduce downtime.

S.S. Gear Head pumps are standard with the APD6 Filler but a wide range of pumps are available to match a specific application or chemical compatibility. Upgradeable pumps available are, High Capacity Gear Pumps, Flexible Impeller Pumps, and Lobe Pumps. The flexibility of this filler makes it perfect for food, chemical, cosmetic, beverage, and pharmaceutical use. With the correct pumps and nozzles this machine can fill products at any temperature, with or without particulates, any product or container characteristics, and viscosity range from less than water to thick pastes and creams.

The standard APD6 filler uses constant running variable speed motors and clutch package for high accuracy filling. This system avoids motor ramp up and down speed that leads to inaccurate and slower filling.

Accutek also offers an upgrade version that is 100% servo motor controlled. This is the most advanced and highest production filling system available. Features include programmable pump speeds throughout the filling time line, programmable speed diving head assembly for container diameter change compensation.
