HISTORY OF ACCUTEK
Accutek Packaging Equipment Company, Inc. was founded in 1989 under the name Accutek Filling Equipment Company. Accutek was first started in Torrance, California and had a home office in Rancho Palos Verdes, California a county of Los Angeles, California. At that point in time Accutek Filling Equipment Company's primary focus was bench top liquid filling machines. The first filling machine we made was called the Mini-Six. The Mini-Six was a six head time pressure filler primarily used for filling cosmetic products such as non-alcohol based perfume, aroma therapy, essential oils, and other thin and light oils. It was later replaced by the Mini-Pinch filler which is still one of our most popular fillers today. The Mini-Pinch can fill a wider variety of products, because of its simple sanitary design which utilizes a pinch bar to stop the flow of product. This design minimizes contact parts and allows us to fill pharmaceuticals, liquid food products, nutraceuticals , beverages, chemicals, and industrial based products. A year after Accutek's founding we moved to San Pedro, California also a city in Los Angeles County . In the San Pedro location we created our first hand held cappers known as Accucappers , bench top piston fillers known as the SVF Series piston filling machines, the APT-25 which was the big brother to the Mini-Six (The APT-25 was later replaced by the Pinch-25), the APT-50 (Replaced by the Pinch-50), and our first automatic filling system the Automatic APT-25 (Replaced by the Auto-Pinch 25).

In the years 1991 and 1992 Accutek developed the Mini-Pinch, Pinch 25, Pinch 50 and the Auto Pinch Series of filling machinery. We also developed our first semi-automatic chuck capper and our first automatic chuck capping machine.

1993 was a year of mostly refinements on our liquid filling and capping product line, but there were a few new items introduced. One of them was the Accuvac , a two head vacuum filler, another one was our first pressure over flow filling machine, and yet another one was our first automatic piston filling machines which later become the AVF Series machines. 1993 was also a year of substantial growth! We discovered that we were quickly growing out of our San Pedro location, so we began shopping for real-estate. First we began shopping locally and then we ventured out into the San Diego area.

In 1994 Accutek Filling Equipment Company moved to a 10,000 square foot facility in Oceanside, California a suburb of San Diego, California. Later that year we changed our name to Accutek Packaging Equipment Company and then incorporated the company. We wanted to be able to provide complete turn-key packaging systems for our customers and the new name reflected that ambition; to be more than just a company that made excellent filling machines and capping machines. In that same year we developed our first bench top pressure sensitive labeler and our first automatic pressure sensitive labeling machine.

In 1998 Accutek moved to a 40,000 square foot facility Vista, California where we reside today. Like Oceanside , Vista is also a suburb of San Diego, California. In 1998 we manufactured our first semi-automatic spindle cappers and our first automatic spindle capping machine with a centrifugal feed bowl.

In July 2001 Accutek completed the acquisition of the assets of the Labelette Company. The Labelette purchase allowed us to expand our line of labeling equipment. Labelette's primary focus was, and still is labeling machinery. To be more specific they were one of the best known names in the engineering and manufacturing of bench top hot melt glue labelers and automatic pressure sensitive labeling machines.

In September 2001 Accutek purchased the assets of Kiss Packaging Systems, Inc. With the Kiss acquisition Accutek acquired a name brand that stood for quality and simplicity, as well as a few new machine designs that complimented our own. The machine's that were included are: semi-automatic and automatic positive displacement filling systems, a new automatic pressure overflow filling machine design, and a unique spindle capper design that compliments our own line of spindle capping machinery and works great for explosion proof applications.

In October / November of 2001 Accutek purchased the assets of Gold Cup Machinery, Inc.

In March 2002 Accutek purchased the Assets of American Packaging Products, Inc., and its Phase Fire brand of heat tunnels and shrink sleeve labeling machines.

BINER ELLISON

Biner Ellison 2685 S Melrose Drive, Vista, CA

In December 2003 Accutek purchased the assets of Biner Ellison. The Biner Ellison purchase gives us a quality brand name and our first rotary filling lines of bottling equipment in this industry.

ACCUTEK OUTLET

In the future we plan to purchase additional companies and more real-estate.
