Accu Stomper-Tabletop Snap Capper

The semi-automatic AccuStomper™ is the perfect machine for applying caps to smaller containers. It’s an easy machine to operate; all the user needs to do is to place the container and its cap beneath the stomper’s head and press the foot pedal. The stomper will lower and press the cap onto the container, forming a firm seal.

This benchtop capping machine can apply up to 80 lbs of pressure to closures for quick and easy capping. You can also control the cylinder’s speed as it extends and returns the stomper.

The AccuStomper is a cost-effective bottle capping solution. Its ease of use makes it an excellent choice for your operations and needs. Contact Accutek if you’d like to learn more about this machine and what it can do for you.

I’m only just getting started with snap caps. What are their benefits?

Snap-down-style caps have usually been used for beverage products that are constantly opened and resealed. Single-use packages usually use a snap-down closure because reseal ability isn’t an issue. Snap-down closures have also been used in place of continuous-thread closures to lower the packaging’s overall cost. A newer style of snap-down closure has been used to accommodate multiple subassemblies into a single closure, including liquor containers, that have a built-in check valve assembly that prevents refilling or product tampering. These types of closures provide product safety with a breakaway safety seal, an anti-refill device, and a threaded closure for resealing all in one.

How would you recommend setting up this machine?

We recommend placing the capper in an open area where the operator will have adequate room to effectively pass containers through the machine to maximize efficiency.

Does the machine really only operate on a foot pedal?

Indeed; there are no switches to flip, knobs to twist, or touchscreen to interact with. Just the pedal. You can either place it on the floor or on a surface to press it with your hand. Either way, that’s all it takes to apply a cap.

How often should I clean and maintain my capper?

We recommend draining any accumulated moisture from the regulator water trap every day. This machine must be supplied with clean dry air. You don’t need to use any pneumatic oiler. As needed, wipe a thin film of light oil (like five-weight spindle oil or similar) on the air cylinder shaft and guide shafts.

What should I do if I have any problems with my machine?

If you have any issues with your capper, then call Accutek’s service department. We’ll be happy to help you troubleshoot whatever problem you’re having.
