The solar system is constructed of first-rate SunPower P-17 series commercial solar panels that are placed on a fully ballasted system, meaning there is no roof penetration, and it is weighted down on the roof by the use of concrete blocks. Electrical, structural, and mechanical engineering practices were used to track wind loads and keep the solar panels firmly placed on the roof slope with high wind loads without making any holes anywhere for stability. The roof is free of damage, maintaining any of its original manufacturer warranties.
