Servo Piston Filler

Product Variants

The Accutek All Electric Servo Driven Piston Filler (E-SPF) is a semiautomatic, volumetric piston-filling machine designed to dispense a precise volume of product into each container. This translates to significant cost savings by minimizing waste products caused by overfilling.

This machine controls the piston stroke length directly through an integrated touchscreen controller. It doesn’t need air compressors, air dryers, filters, and the associated maintenance and permitting requirements.

The E-SPF can handle a range of substances such as pastes, creams, lotions, gels, and products with larger particulates or chunks. It’s equally efficient at filling thinner products. The fill volumes are customizable, depending on the size of the product cylinder and piston.

How exactly does this machine work?

The nozzle T has two check valves inside of it; product is pulled into the product cylinder from the hopper through the upper check valve by the position retracting inside the product cylinder. A servo driving a ball screw beneath the platform moves the piston. The fill volume is determined by the inside diameter of the product cylinder and the piston stroke length.

Does the touchscreen make this easier to operate than the other volumetric fillers?

The touchscreen gives you significantly more control and customization options for filling your containers with product.

What does the optional heat and mixer package do?

These are for when you have a product that needs to be at least above room temperature to flow. The heaters and mixer need a control box to handle the electronics. There’s a ball valve that directs product from the hopper to flow into the cylinder during the draw stroke. It directs product to the nozzle during the fill stroke.

How often does this machine need to be cleaned and maintained?

How frequently you need to clean your machine, and the type of cleaning solution you use, will be dependent on what exactly you’re using your machine for. But it’s best to consider your local and federal guidelines. We do recommend cleaning this machine with a mild soap solution, then rinsing it with water.
