SVF1-2

Accutek’s Semi-Automatic Volumetric Fillers are piston fillers that accurately deliver a measured volume of product to each container. Their accuracy ensures bottom-line savings by reducing the amount of product used as overfill.

These flexible piston fillers adapt to a wide product range, from water to thick caulking compounds, and can handle lightweight containers prone to distortion. Volumetric piston fillers can accommodate chunky products with an optional valve. They also come with a direct-from-drum draw kit (optional hopper available) and can be swiftly set up for production.

This particular version of the SVF comes with a two-ounce product cylinder, delivered in a single-dose configuration.

Whether as the core of your filling process, a cost-effective backup, or an alternative to contract packagers, SVF piston fillers eliminate downtime and expensive setup for small runs.

What are the differences between the different SVF fillers?

Accutek sells three different versions of the SVF: The primary SVF, the servo-based SVF, and the miniature SVF. The main difference between them comes down to how they’re controlled and their sizes. The main and servo SVF are both approximately the same size, but while the former is controlled via a foot pedal, the latter has a PLC touchscreen interface.   The mini-SVF, as the name suggests, is much smaller than the other two. It’s more compact and lightweight. Also, it can be placed on a table and, like the main SVF, is controlled with a foot pedal.

Which version of the SVF will be best for my production line?

That’s going to depend on a lot of factors: The amount of space you have available for your equipment, what type of product you’re filling, how much of it you want to fill, et cetera. Feel free to call Accutek to ask us about the SVF. This way, we can get a better idea of which version of the SVF will best suit your production needs.

Can I get a touchscreen controller for the other SVF machines?

Only the Servo SVF comes with a touchscreen controller. But with the other SVFs, control literally comes down to the push of a pedal. It doesn’t get much easier than that.
