How exactly does the desiccant inserter work?

Containers move along on a conveyor belt to the desiccant dispenser. A cap chute receives the oriented desiccant capsules and positions the caps to be stomped into a container passing under the chute’s end. A sensor activates a packet-separating knife that lets one packet to drop into the container. A sensor fires the cap stomper, driving a capsule into a container.

How can I keep my desiccant inserter clean?

How often you clean and the type of cleaning solution you use depend on your specific application. Consider local and federal guidelines for your product and manufacturing format. We recommend cleaning the machine with a mild soap solution and rinsing with water. You’ll also need to clean the machine’s conveyor occasionally using warm soap and water. That means checking for product residue or debris build-up between the conveyor chain links and removing any accumulation. Also, clean the track where the conveyor belt rides.
