Accutek liquid filling machines handle products ranging from sports drinks to peanut butter. There are four technologies used to fill a container with a measured amount of liquid product; timed flow, fill to level, metered flow, and fill by weight.
Different Types of Liquid Filling Machines
Some products are chunky or have particulates. Other products are stringy or foam during the filling process. Accutek products are custom tailored to deal with these issues and still provide fast and accurate fill levels.
Accutek pinch series products are timed flow fillers ranging from an entry level machine to an automated machine that can fill up to twelve containers per cycle. The pinch series machines have adjustable flow rates at each nozzle to ensure that individual containers are filled to the proper level.
Accutek also has a complete line of fill to level or overflow fillers, starting with a semi automatic filler that handles two bottles at a time. The next step in the fill to level series is an automatic machine called the Accutek APOF. This filling machine can be configured to fill up to twelve containers at a time. At the high end Accutek has a selection of rotary fillers that fill containers to level in a continuous process achieving maximum throughput.
Metered output fillers are piston fillers or positive displacement pump fillers. Piston fillers pull the product into a piston and then expel the product into a container. The fill level is determined by the piston diameter and the stroke length. Accutek has entry level machines that fill a single bottle at a time or high end machines that can fill twelve containers with automated container handling.
Positive displacement pump fillers count pump shaft rotations to determine the fill level. Accutek sells a manual single container PD filler and at the high end is an automatic machine that fills twelve containers at a time.
Liquid weight fillers work on one container at a time and are for larger containers.
