What’s the key difference? Semi-automatic machines tend to be smaller. You can run them independently of automatic lines, and they take up less space on the production floor.

Automatic packaging machines, while large and more expensive, usually operate with greater precision. This is because they are usually equipped with human-machine interfaces; in other words, touchscreens. This lets you program and save specific settings for your chosen batches of product.

Automatic machines can also be incorporated into existing or new continuous production lines, allowing you to seamlessly integrate different types of machines into a single system for producing product(s).

Minimizing Your Physical Footprint

If you’re looking to reduce your physical footprint within your production space, we recommend semi-automatic machines. They’re less expensive, easier to move, and can still deliver excellent results for your production process.

Automatic and semi-automatic are both good choices if you’re looking to increase the levels of automation in your custom packaging line.

Fillers for Health Product Packaging

Of Accutek’s various fillers, one particularly suited for the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry is the piston filler. This type of machine uses a piston to push the liquid towards the nozzle. This allows the machine to handle both thin and viscous liquid products.

We also build pressure overflow fillers, which are designed to fill containers to the same visible fill level. If you’re looking to maintain consistency of appearance with your bottled products, this is the optimal machine.

If you’re looking to fill powders, we recommend our auger filler. This machine mixes powders and keeps them from clumping together. For gummies, a net weight filler is optimal, especially if you are filling large quantities of them. Larger automatic spindle cappers, like the ASC-6, use rotating spindles to tighten caps onto bottle necks. If you’re looking to establish an automatic line, this is a safe investment.

Yes; where applicable, the manuals include information on setting up your machine and keeping it in good condition for a long time.
